Our Story

40 years ago, Paul set out to reshape the industry as a customer family focused, affordable and a more sustainably high quality business.

Founder Paul Mundri started this business from humble beginnings, with the sale of live poultry from door to door in Chatsworth, Durban. Later moving into Sheep Offal products due to his employment as a clerk at the Cato Ridge abattoir.  The business then moved into processing and trading of Sheep Offal at the Bangladesh Market in unit 3 Chatsworth, where it continues for operate for over 30 years.

in 2010 Shantel and Kalvin decided to expand this business in Gauteng and founded Paul's Fisheries, trading at the Actonville Flea Market in Benoni, Gauteng.

In 2017 Paul's Fisheries opened their online store - www.paulsfisheries.co.za / atpauls.co.za which offers door to door delivery to most areas in Johannesburg, Pretoria, Witbank, Middleburg, Secunda, Trichardt, Kinross & Evander. This is the first of its kind to offer unique products to be purchased online, with safe and convenient personal delivery services.

In 2020 Paul's Fisheries opened a Home store in Brakpan, Gauteng to assist with the challenges of the lock down during the Covid-19 pandemic. Ever since this store as been open to the local community.

in 2022 the brand has transformed into a Durban Indian speciality grocer store with the opening of it's Edenvale store. This resulting in the re branding to @PAUL'S.

The company strives in sourcing the best exotic, export quality products serving the Gauteng & Mpumalanga region with the best products and offering optimum service to our clientele for the past 16 years.

The family-run business enables personal relationships with their clientele, understanding customer needs and delivering on their promises of high-quality and value-add products.
